Webelos II Ceremonies at the
Blue and Gold Banquet on February 23, 2008
Pack 579 enjoyed watching the Arrow of Light award ceremony. The Arrow of Light is the highest award given to a Cub Scout and is the only badge allowed to wear on a Boy Scout's uniform.

After receiving their Arrow of Light, the Order of the Arrow performed the Crossing Over ceremony, which is a solemn ceremony to signify the crossing or bridging to the Boy Scouts.
 
After crossing, they are given a yellow scarf with the Troop 1717 insignia and the Boy Scout handbook, a present from the Pack.
and we got to see Mr. Brown in a headdress !!
